Heritage Auctions, in Dallas sold a piece of John Lennon’s hair this past weekend. Measuring 4″, Paul Fraser is the lucky collector from the UK that won The Beatles locks for the small price of $35,000.
Director of Music Memorabilia, Garry Shrum said:
“This is the largest lock of John Lennon’s hair ever offered at auction and this world record price is a lasting testament to the world’s more than 50-year love affair and fascination with Lennon and the Beatles.”
This piece of The Beatles front-mans hair came from his role in “How I Won the War” and his hairdresser decided to keep a memento.
