Chaos ensued in New York City as Kanye West was set to headline the third day of the Governor’s Ball in New York City on Sunday, but bad weather forced them to cancel.
However, this did not keep Kanye down. Some lucky fans still got to experience West as he surprised the crowd at nearby festival the Hot 97 Summer Jam instead.
The Summer Jam was forced to close one of its stages, canceling sets from Chance the Rapper and others, but West was able to perform on the main stage, along with others like Big Sean, Pusha T, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg and DJ Khaled.
The word spread as social media went wild spreading tere will be “G.O.O.D. Music” played at Webster Hall at 2 a.m. Hint hint: Kanye West.
West even tried to organised a block party in the streets at 2 a.m. on a Monday morning, attempting to get in contact with the mayor of New York City to let him do so. The pair were reportedly driving through the crowd in a mobbed vehicle.
