It looks like this black panther is stalking its prey, creeping up on a man unaware that he is right behind him.
Just as the panther lunges, the man see’s the animal. What looks to be an attack turns into a heartwarming video.
The panther, named Kal-El after Superman’s birth name, instead of eating the man gives kisses and plays with his friend, Eduardo Serio, who runs the Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation in Mexico.
Serio is actually the animal’s rescuer.
The video was shot by foundation employee Bofo Farias Gonzales, who knew the two were buddies, so he did not warn him.
According to Serio’s Facebook page, he created the foundation in 2013 to protect big cats from exploitation and trafficking.
The foundation has since rescued dozens of big cats to live on its 30-acre property, said Serio.
