A woman captured the last moments of her boyfriends life after he was shot in a routine traffic stop.
Philando Castile was driving with Lavish Reynolds in Falcon Heights, Minnesota Wednesday when his car was pulled over for a broken tail light.
The video begins right after the shooting, but according to Reynolds, the officer shot Castile after he was reaching for his license and registration. Castile reportedly told the officer he had a pistol on him that was registered. Once Castile reached for his wallet the officer told him to stop. Reynolds says Castile put his hands back up, but the officer then shot him four plus times.
Castile died from his injuries after being taken to a local hospital.
In the video you can hear the officer say, “I told him not to reach for it. I told him to get his hand out.”
An investigation into this incident has been launched.
