In May, Budweiser announced it will be rebranding its beer as “America” and with the hype of American politics they are taking full advantage by throwing their own “national convention.”
The Belgium-based company will go on a 13 city tour featuring huge headliners in pop music including Nelly, Lil Wayne, Dillon Francis and Young the Giant. Dallas hosts the “convention” on August 11 with performances from Jason Derulo and country singer Brett Eldredge. The location in the Big D has not been disclosed at this time.
“The Bud Light Party stands for uniting all people and nothing does that better than a summer full of fun, good music and Bud Light,” said Alex Lambrecht, vice president of Bud Light.
If would like to attend the August 11 concert, the Bud Light website says there will be an application for a free RSVP, but it is currently not available. On their FAQs, you may also attend a Bud Light promo event or submit a photo on social media to win tickets.
