2-Year-Old Boy’s Hot Car Death Under Investigation by Dallas Police

Dallas police said Tuesday, they are still investigating the death of Boi Lei Sang, 2, who was left in a hot car as his family attended church this past weekend.

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a call on Sunday around 4:20 p.m. regarding the toddler, who had been found inside of a vehicle at 11000 Shiloh Rd.

“The child was transported to a local hospital where the child was pronounced deceased,” police spokesman Carlos Almeida said.

According to Almeida it is “an active investigation” and no further details were available.

It is not known how long the boy had been in the car.

According to WFAA-TV weather reports, temperatures in the area reached 100 degrees Sunday.
