The Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation Board released new information on the expansion of the Klyde Warren Park development. Rob Walters from the board said the park has made more than $1 billion in nearby development revenue.
The park was finished in 2012, but Walters said there is still more to be done.
“We had in mind something a little larger and a little grander,” Walters said.
The team ran out of money years ago in the planning phase, but with the success they are going back to the city requesting more funding.
“It’s a rare opportunity to make something really good great,” Walters said.
Check out the elaborate plans.
