Pittsburgh Police, Fire, and Public Works crews worked tirelessly in the wee hours of the morning to free a man Tuesday morning in Oakland reports CBS Pittsburgh.
The man wanted to impress his girlfriend and made an attempt to jump from one rooftop to the next. I guess this guy has no jumping skills, cause he missed and fell between the crack of the two buildings.
“He is not quite on the ground. But, he is wedged between these two buildings pretty well,” said Pittsburgh Public Safety Officer Sonya Toler.
It took crews more than three hours to free the man, by tearing through the brick wall at the Qdoba restaurant.
“We had people on the roof. One of the paramedics did rappel down three stories to render assistance and also provide us some landmarks as to where he was. Once the paramedic was there we reassessed where he was and cut the second hole,” Pittsburgh Public Safety Director Wendell Hissrich said.
The man has not just been identified, but is believed to be a Pitt student.
