Friday morning, Texas Rangers pitcher Jeremy Jeffress, 28, was arrested and charged DWI, according to Dallas County Jail booking records.
Jeffress was booked at 5:13 a.m. and bond was set at $500.
The Rangers released said we are “aware of the situation involving Jeremy Jeffress that took place early this morning” and are “in the process of the gathering information.”
In 2007, Jeffress was suspended for 50 games and testing positive for drugs after being given a warning and also in 2009 for 100 games after failing a third test.
